Student Fares on the Comet

Exciting news for all midlands students! The Comet offers reduced or free fares in partnership with many local colleges, universities, and school districts. Also, students from the University of South Carolina can utilize the USC Transit service operated by the Comet for free. A list of all schools who have deals with the Comet for students to ride the bus is included below. Furthermore, using the bus to get to school, or even to go to the library to study is a great way for students and youth to cut down on their environmental impact.

Schools which provide fare free Comet access to students and staff:

• Richland County School District One

• Richland County School District Two

• Lexington-Richland School District Five

• Benedict College

• Allen University

• Columbia College

Schools which provide a shuttle system:

• The University of South Carolina
